Yes, I know it has been such a VERY long time since we chatted, but the Thread is back! Mostly because I myself am back. I have now gotten Mondays off from work and I am able to spend time developing the ministry more and doing more things that will build relationships, connectedness and family.   This is going to be an exciting summer. Don't miss out on all the great events and fun we have planned.   I am sure looking forward to making some amazing memories with you all and hey, while we're at it, let's invite some of friends and neighbors that are near us to join as well!   It might be nice to build community and closeness with those that are near by.   Well, I hope you enjoy and are VERY blessed!   It's so good to chat again!      Inspire! (News You Can Use)     May 14, 2007 A 13-Year Old's Novel Achievement: Nancy Yi Fan, now an eighth-grader, was too young to know she was breaking every rule in the book when she e-mailed her first manuscript directly to the president and CEO of HarperCollins. "I was being quite bold thinking I had nothing to lose," says Nancy. "I thought, maybe she will give me some advice." Instead, CEO Jane Friedman, gave her a contract, passing Fan's allegorical story about warring avian factions and their quest for peace to her children's division, which published 'Swordbird' this spring. Her story would be amazing for any teen but has another remarkable twist: Fan came to the United States from China just six years ago, knowing only a few words of English.
