Well, I am more than hyped! It's been a truly EXCITING last few weeks. I have had both great news personally, church-wise and business-wise. PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK OUT THE ANNOUNCEMENTS before leaving this email for needed updates, but first, here are ours!
Here are the updates I JUST HAVE TO praise our GOD about!
1. June 6, 2007 was the Tapestry 3rd Anniversary!!! We are 3 YEARS OLD NOW!!!!
2. Our Annual Balloon Launch has already brought 4 responses from around our area!
3. Our Sunday morning Service in Bethesda just moved to it's new Room at our location which can hold about 100 people!
4. I finished a huge transition at my company that has fixed a year and half-long issue, outsourcing our Exchange Servers, which secured my new title of Operations Manager and this with the fact I now work 4 days a week and am up for a raise again at the end of the year! PRAISE GOD!
5. Lori is in the process of praying about accepting a promotion and new job and raise at her current employer!
6. Our baby Anna Elizabeth is due in just a couple of weeks having fought through GOD's grace and healing hand a multitude of diseases the doctors have said that she would have. GOD has healed her through all of our prayers each time! I am so glad that Abortion is a not an option with us. When faced with the question of what to do, we KNEW. Whether Anna Beth had Downs Syndrome, meningitis or even cerebral palsy.
The doctors now say that the large cyst she had is healed, all the indicators are gone, however, there are still some risk for Cerebral Palsy and meningitis. SO, we BELIEVE a couple of things.
a. GOD STILL HEALS! b. GOD IS IN CONTROL! c. GOD has chosen us to be this baby's parents whether she has special needs or not. This ONLY means we have been chosen as special parents! GOD bless all of you who have been here before and chose to keep your precious babies! d. GOD has the final say!
No matter what, I want Anna to know when she is 19 and debating her next big choices that SHE WAS ALWAYS WANTED! I CHOSE HER! HER POPPY CHOSE HER! I chose her the way the father chose me: Issues and ALL!
So, we covet your continued prayers. Lori is due July 4, 2007. So, pray for us. We will keep you up to date!
7. Your gifts and giving at all the baby showers has been a blessing and we have everything and more that a baby could need!
So, with that said, thank you family and friends. Thanks for your hearts, your giving, your love and continued care! Thanks!

A generation later, the farm laborer, now 70 years old, had to watch his four sons do the same after primary school for the same reason that had dragged him out of the classroom. He would be filled with pity whenever he watched the children of his village in India study in the sole primary school operating under a temporary shade by the roadside. Early last month, he approached Sunil Konai, a village head, with the offer to donate a portion of his land for a school. Konai said the land gifted by Mondal would be worth about Rs. 100,000, a sum hard to fathom for someone earning Rs. 40 a day. [ more ]

May 6 As of May 6, our morning service has started at the "Church in Bethesda" Building. We meet at 10:30am. Come join us. Just to let everyone know, the ComeRevive.Us site is ready for you to start digging in. I have finished most of the Revival Timeline and now I am filling in the blanks. There is audio, video, books, stories, photos and so much more. This site is going to only get better.

And Just to close, don't forget, when life hands you lemons, make lemonade or better yet, lemon meringue pie! WOOT! And as always, my prayer is that the Lord blesses and keeps you, that He shines His face upon you and that He draws you closer to others as He leads you nearer to His Presence.

The Methods will always and must always change, however the Message never changes! We find today that we still must preach the message of the cross.
Adoration
There must be more to this than simple worship. Where's the intimacy in that? We will not settle for anything less than deep connection with GOD & each other.
Covenant
No more broken promises. No more quitting when it gets tough. No more broken hearts. In a day when people can easily go their separate ways, we live in covenant.
Cultural
Not a list. Not just laws. Not just on Sunday. We are believers and will allow our faith to invade all parts of our lives. Our love will show and will draw all people to GOD.
Missional
With Consumerism crashing down all around us, the only path to take is a deeper one. One that gives back. What do you want to do with the rest of your life?
